1) How do I get started?
Head over to the aptly named “Getting Started” tab, see if that helps. If you still have questions, just email us with what ever is on your mind. firstname.lastname@example.org.
3) Do I have to do a Crash Course with ya’ll if I have all ready completed Fundamentals at another CrossFit affiliate?
Nope, you can get started with us. We just need you to have your old affiliate email confirmation to us that you have completed elements or fundamentals somewhere else.
4) Why CrossFit Metropolis?
We’ve been doing this since 2009, making us one of the oldest CrossFit affiliates in NYC. We run an authentic, old school, bare bones CrossFit facility. We are in a ground floor space, don’t fight mid-town crowds when we want to run, and run a CrossFit.com influenced program, with lots of variance.
We encourage you to check us out, check out other CrossFit affiliates, and then make a choice based on what is a best fit for you. All gyms will have a different feel, culture, community, style of programming and coaching, and you should actively choose where you want to train. Sample the goods then make a decision on where you feel most at home.
5) I am visiting from out of town, can I drop-in?
Yep yep. We charge a one-time visitor drop-in fee of $25, or $100 for a full week of training. Just email us in advance and let us know what day/time you want to come in, so we know to expect you.
6) Where are you located?
We are on the ground floor at 156 East 100th Street, just off of Lexington Ave. 4 blocks North from the 96th street Subway stop.
7) Is this for me?
Well, we think so, but if you have doubts, come for our Free Trial Class. Every Saturday at 12:30pm. You can sign up for our Freebie Here. Or just email us and let us know you want to come for a Trial. This is the best way to see what we’re all about.
