Working out at Black Swamp CrossFit in Toledo, Ohio. Last night, WOD was a 10 minute AMRAP of:
10 SDHP (75)
10 BJ
10 Pull-ups
I did not represent us well (4 rounds and 5 pull-ups). These Ohio boys don’t mess around.
Today’s WOD was Grace (30 C&Js @ 135). 6:57. I’ve never done this and paced too much. Next time, I’ll try 3 every 30 seconds. I definitely felt the benefits of our strength cycle since 135 felt great.
ouch, yeah, you should have been going head to head and I wouldn’t have chalked and would have ran faster.. next time!

Funky schedule these last couple of weeks, needed to do this WOD at globogym. I ran the 400 m down from the 4th floor to the street, which wasted a lot of time. Next time KB swings unbroken, lost a lot of time there too.

Hilarious – I had lunch with a friend who was “counting calories” – I have learned to hold my tongue on the topic of Paleo/Crossfit around “civilians” as it always leads to the “you’ve-joined-a-cult-and-have-sprouted-a-second-head” long stare.
Excessive heat, thunder showers, cranky post-snatch knees and battered hands…all signs point to a rest day. God speed to all who dare WOD tonight.
Day two of knee rest. Plan to be back tomorrow morning. Miss you all.
