Still major issues arching my back on the DLs. Need to reset and concentrate on keeping my form. Big chest.

After a week of WODs full of things I could barely do or not do at all, I was stoked to see this! I agree with Jared that this took a lot out of me and my 3 minute rests were closer to 4 at the end. I was not sure when to stop in the earlier rounds. I know it’s “max” but it seemed silly to do 241, 341, or even 441 reps just to get a couple more in when we had many rounds left to go. I tried to go all out on the last couple rounds.
@Dale – I would like to see you break 200 in this.
The only thing bad about this morning was that it had to end. I had so much fun.
Bench Press. No deadlifts for me due to tomorrow’s comp.

I want to add this small editorial also. Sign up for a competition. Any competition. I can not stess enough how it makes you focus on your workouts and keeps you motiviated. It is not about wining or losing. Its about the way it makes you keep your eye on the prize. Okay, I will step down from my soap box.

Really solid morning, 6&7am-ers! It’s always great to see everyone working hard and encouraging each other Metropolis-style.
Mike Cohen is 100% right about competing. It’s a great learning experience, super fun and very inspiring. Annie NFT – NFT because it was impossible to find space to do both dus and situps in the same place. Someone kept getting in my way. Not to mention I worked out next to 2 girls doing “deadlifts” with 5 lb weights – my favorite part was when they said their hands hurt!!’

Is anybody going to the Far Hills Race aka the Hunt tomorrow? If so we have a tailgate at spots 234-235 and you are welcome to join. We have plenty of food and alcohol. I’m guessing any of you who grew up or have lived in NJ (other than EJ) know what the event is.
For those who don’t it is a fundraiser for Somerset Hills Hospital and takes place out on a farm in the country in Far Hills NJ. There are 6 world class steeplechase races and people come to watch them and tailgate in pre-paid numbered 10 x 20 spots which are catered with food and beverages. So you are out in a beautiful setting watching the fall foliage and exciting races while tailgating among about 40,000 other patrons.
Tomorrow is going to be sunny in the mid-high 60′s and is absolutely a perfect day for this event. The website for the event is:
