Grabbed an early morning workout at the pull up bars in John Jay Park.
15 minutes As many rounds as possible
5 pull ups
10 push ups
15 air squats
20 double unders
5 rounds plus 5 pull ups.
Got through pull ups, push ups, and squats quickly each round but severely halted by double unders. Completed them, but slowed up by them considerably.
Hoping to make it to seminar today.

Felt great today, my knee wasn’t bothering me and I did red box knee hspus without anything under my head; last time I was using a 15# plate and an abmat. Yay progress!

DNF. Cut off at 28ish minutes with 8 squat cleans and lunge steps left. It sounds so easy to finish now! Moved to 1 abmat on last 3 rounds of HSPU. I was lazy on the lunges and could have saved time there. Squat cleans were the problem as I could only get one or two at a time in the later rounds. I’m not sure if it was too much weight or lack of conditioning.
Somewhere just south of 30.
Read and article on the journal about moving your body relative to the bar instead of moving the bar.. made a huge difference!

pike push ups are a lot harder than HSPU with two abmats!
