How do I get started?

STEP 1:  Get Educated
Read our blog.  Read About Us and What is Fitness.  Spend time at CrossFit.com.  Come sample the goods during our weekly Free Trial Session Sunday at 9am. STEP 2:  Learn the Basics

PRE-REQUISITE ENTRY POINTS:

All New Members are required to attain a basic level of skill prior-to attending group sessions. Based on current fitness levels these options include:

Group “Crash Course”
“I know how to squat. I’m not a stranger to the gym. I’ve had some prior exposure to the major lifts; squat, dead, press, clean and jerk.” Athletes with a moderate level of training experience and reasonable mobility begin with our Group Crash Course. Our Group Crash Course is a 3-hour review of fundamental movements taught in a small group setting.

We run the group Crash Course on Saturdays from 12:30pm – 3:30pm by appointment. Cost: $175

Personalized “Crash Course”
“I think I know what a squat is? I can run around the park no problem, but barbells are a little foreign to me.” Athletes with basic levels of training experience and decent mobility begin with a personalized variation of our Crash Course. The same material will be covered but at a slower, personalized pace.

This can be completed in one, 3-hr session, or three, 1-hr sessions. Cost: $300-$450

“Back to The Basics”
“I’ve been at my desk for 5 years; does that count as a squat?” Athletes with little to no training
experience and deficient mobility begin with personal training; a minimum of 5 sessions. Cost: $750

The “Crash Course” will get you prepared for regular membership and attendance in group sessions.

STEP 3:  Sign-up!
After completion of your Crash Course, members can sign-up for any of our membership packages.  We have a variety of options including 12-month, 6-month or 3-month pre-pay memberships, and standard monthly memberships for 2x/week or unlimited attendance.  EMAIL us at info@crossfitmetropolis.com to receive information about all of our membership packages.
