Great session of OLY work with Brendan
5 sets of 2 Power Cleans @155 lbs.
5 sents of 3 front squats into 3 Jerks @95 lbs.
Worked on the ques. Shoulder getting around. Landing is a solid position. Catching the weight on my shoulder. The pull, keeping the weight close yet not touching.
Then the transition from the front squat to the Jerk. Not easy to reset when you have mobility issues. To go from that finger tips on the bar to a firm grasp under load.
All in a great session.

Did the heat have something to do with this? Anyone else have this issue with repeating workouts in the hot gym vs. when the gym is cooler? Let me know!

Did the DL and push ups all unbroken til the 6th round.
First time doing this wod but pretty sure my time would of been better if it was cooler. But because I’m Dominican, I don’t mind working out in this heat.
DNF – 9 rounds
Did 5 regular push-ups for each of the first 6 rounds and then switched to all knee push-ups because they were falling apart.
DNF – 7+15 @115

I was sweating before walking into the gym.
DNF – I may have done 9 rounds, but i might have done 8. 50% rx (deads), but situps for pushups because my arms are hurting so decided to give them a day off.
