Woke up at 5:51 had to improvise at NYSC 255lbs bench 5×5 plus a 2 mile run. Will try to make the 8:30 tonight, can’t miss the opportunity to make an ass out of myself doing 150 burpees!

There have only been a couple workouts that have forced an immediate rest day. One was about a year ago when Leeper and I partnered up on burpees, deadlifts, and resistance band sprints.
The other was yesterday.

Push press – 155 lbs…this was just the right weight. The last few sets were a struggle.

I watched Dave do it at 6:30 and he kept a steady tempo and literally never slowed down. I did it the same way and when I hit 125 I went to my next gear. Big thanks to Allison for the push.

And in other tweaky news, my hip crease pain returns with a vengence after yesterdays squats. Super super bummed and hope it is just soreness and not injury. Will be heavily avoiding any lower body moves ’til it clears.
