11:29 @ 115. Big progress from 6/1/11 (10:40 @ 95). E’s advice on opening and then closing hips on squat by driving hips back was a great mental cue for me as “getting down fast” wasn’t really helping. I’ll stay at this weight next time since 21 was far from unbroken.

12:15 @ 115. Could most likely have completed the WOD at Rx’d, but not under the 15 min cap. Did the squat clean / KBS workout last week at 135, and I remember doing one or two reps and then standing there looking at the bar, hoping in some form or fashion it would get lighter. Decided today to scale and complete rather than DNF.

11:56 @ 95 lbs. A little slower than last time, and did not feel as comfortable. Maybe it is time to put some weight back on post marathon.
13:47, rx’d – minute slower than over the summer. drinking and traveling have picked up which is directly correlated with the lack of effort.
For those of you who really want to start doing some mobility, here’s a video of a few things to help you out BEFORE you WOD.
The tricep thing is pretty crazy..be sure to test and re-test to check for changes!

Close to Rx’D – nothing in the tank at the end. Brendan was kind enough to assist my ring dips for the last set of 9…this week has been really brutal!

55lb squat cleans – these were sloppy. A little bit of babying here due to possible mild hyperextension of both knees from Monday volleyball

13:30… #115, jumpingish ring dips. Squat stance was limiting, trying to open hip up and use knee correctly. Ring dips were on slower side and more about form/strength.

Also, I used the hook grip for the first time in a WOD. I am not saying I like it, but it could grow on me with repetition/practice!
15:00 @ 85. I did Rings rx’d for the first 15, then used red band. Second round Rings were rx’d until 10 then I used red band for the remainder. Triceps are very sore.
So frustrating! 11:33 @ 30lbs and red band dips. Still sore from Monday!
